How is the passing marks and grading calculated for BISE?

For provincial BISE boards the pass mark is 33 percent, with grades A+ 80 to 100, A 70 to 79, B 60 to 69, C 50 to 59, D 40 to 49, E 33 to 39 and F below 33. Divisions are First at 60 percent and above, Second from 45 to 59 percent and Third from 33 to 44 percent. For FBISE the pass mark is 40 percent with A+ 90 to 100, A 80 to 89, B 70 to 79, C 60 to 69, D 50 to 59, E 40 to 49 and F below 40.
